Eligibility criteria:

Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with atleast 60% aggregate marks for MCA and 50% aggregate marks for M.Tech. Besides they should have a good academic record in 10th as well as 12th. Students appearing in their final year exams in April / May 2011 can also apply. For MCA candidates should have done BCA/BSc(Computer Science)/Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/Statistics/Business Mathematics as well as Mathematics in Class 12th. Availability of Application forms for VITMEE 2011:

Application forms for VITMEE will be available in designated post offices, University Campus & VIT Office Chennai. The form may also be obtained by sending a request to VIT along with a demand draft. The candidates that are eager to earn their application form tough post have to forward a requisite letter along with mentioning of their registration number as well as a specimen of their signature at the back die of the Demand Draft. The candidates are also advised to submit few important documents along with the requisite letter.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates are first shortlisted through VITMEE written examination. The shortlisted candidates are then called for Interviews for final selection. GATE qualified candidates are given preference. Candidates who have got a percentile of more than 90 in GATE can apply directly for interview without written examination.
